Open Meadow Suite is located on a working farm with cows, a rooster and chickens, ducks, bees, dogs and cats. Other than the dogs and cats, all animals are kept in fenced areas.
Why do I mention all that you may ask? We want you, valued guest, to be aware that you will hear a rooster’s cock-a-doodle-do, hens clucking and cows mooing. The dogs’ job is to keep our animals safe; we do keep their barking to a minimum but you will hear them occasionally.
Our goal is to be respectful of quiet time for our guests. We use a tractor for feeding and other farm related work and at times, the work is dictated by the season and the weather. Exceptions to regular working ours may apply, should that be the case we would communicate that with you beforehand.
The back yard and surrounding area are farm property. If you would like to wander or look at some of the farm animals, please ask the farm house occupants.
